Located on the site of the Old Ben Lomond Golf Course, Craggy offers a range of accommodation including self-contained cabins and studios. All the cabins have complete kitchens with full sized appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee plunger, kettle, crockery and cutlery. From the moment we arrived ( Deb & Craig made sure the cabin was warm and toasty and left a small light on as we checked in after hours ) till the time we checked out (sadly) we loved every minute spent there. The solitude and peace was exactly what we needed as we spend hours staring at the screen everyday. It’s a case of disconnect to connect. There was almost zero internet connectivity but that’s ok cos that’s exactly what we wanted. Bring a book! The cabin is lovely. It has a kitchen so well equipped it has everything you need to whip up meals. There’s complementary hot chocolate and marshmallows too(yummm!) Don’t even get me started on the shower. Best shower in my 10 day tour of Tassie! We highly recommend an experience at Craggy Peaks and wish to be back some day.
