The French Lodge

At the chalet complex, some units have a private entrance, dining area, fireplace and oven. Some of the units feature a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. At the chalet complex, certain units are equipped with a coffee machine and wine or champagne.Our 8 person apartment (Blue River) in The French Lodge was very spacious, had comfortable beds, and well appointed bathrooms and kitchen. Our kids had a fabulous time in the swimming pool and one of the parents gave great reports on their massage. Most importantly of all, the owners, who personally set up a WhatsApp chat to facilitate communication, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, especially considering the last minute nature of our booking. They helped us sort out lift passes, equipment hire, restaurant bookings and provided recommendations on where to ski, and it was a pleasure to get to know them throughout our stay. They also have a local concierge service that sorted out (a delicious) breakfast each day and were on hand for other ad hoc requests.
